The strategic lines of research currently being pursued by the group are as follows:

1. Identification and validation of circulating proteins with clinical prognostic capacity in dementia associated with ageing.
2. Identification of molecular mechanisms altered in intercellular communication in the brain with dementia.
3. Identification of molecular mechanisms altered in intercellular communication in the brain with psychotic disorder and schizophrenia.
4. Use of nanovesicles for the delivery of compounds into the central nervous system.
