The Alicia Cuello de Merigó Foundation and IRBLleida sign their collaboration to promote biomedical research

The agreement aims to promote research and impact on the welfare benefit of society

The Alicia Cuello de Merigó Foundation is a non-profit foundation. One of its aims is the support of the research activity in the field of cancer and cardiovascular diseases, with the aim of improving the quality of life and preventing the illness of people.

The Institute of Biomedical Research is a pioneering center in the stimulation of biomedical research. IRBLleida is the result of an agreement signed in 2004 between the Catalan Institute of Health (ICS) and the University of Lleida (UdL), with the mission of promoting biomedical research through the creation of synergies between its different variants. Due to the importance of its work, IRBLleida has been established in a short time as a center of great prestige both nationally and internationally.
