The Management Office and the Clinical Research Support Unit (USIC) have renewed the ISO 9001 audit certification

The management office and the Clinical Research Support Unit (USIC) of the Lleida Biomedical Research Institute (IRBLleida) have successfully passed the ISO 9001 Quality Management System audit, reaffirming their commitment to providing a quality service through continuous improvement.

The IRBLleida Biobank was the first scientific and technical service to be certified to ISO 9001 in 2012, and from 2024, the management office and the USIC were also included. IRBLleida continues to commit to expanding the certification to other departments and services as a demonstration of transparency and quality.

The ISO 9001 standard is the most widely recognised quality management standard in the world. It belongs to the ISO 9000 family of quality management system standards and helps organisations meet the expectations and needs of their customers.
