IRBLleida participates in 'Research with impact on SMA'

A review of the current research landscape in spinal muscular atrophy

Research staff from the Experimental Neuromuscular Pathology and Neuronal Signalling Unit research groups participated in the "Researching with Impact on SMA" meeting on 7 and 8 November, a review of the current state of research into spinal muscular atrophy. The meeting, which took place in Madrid, was organised by the FundacióFundAME to review the current state of research into spinal muscular atrophy. It was attended by basic science researchers, clinical specialists and people with SMA, with the aim of identifying and prioritising translational projects that respond to real needs.

The head of the Neuronal Signalling Unit, Rosa Maria Soler Tatche, was a member of the scientific committee.
