A total of 700 people took part in guided tours, talks and scientific workshops as part of the Research Night 2025 activities.
The guided tours were organised from Monday 15th to Thursday 18th. On Friday 19th, 16 workshops took place simultaneously, along with a talk by the Joan Oró Foundation. Workshops on the mission of the Biobank, science and art, how does the brain feel when it has a stroke, and the amazing journey of what we eat were some of the proposals. In addition, the CREBA centre, located in Torrelameu, offered a gymkhana with tests related to animal anatomy and health, a game with different levels to discover what happens in an operating theatre, and readings aloud of texts written by scientific staff.
The IRBLleida 2025 Research Night also featured a planetarium, a face painting and research tattoo workshop, and a science photo shoot.
This 2025 edition of IRBLleida Research Night is made possible thanks to grants from the "la Caixa" Foundation and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Lleida City Council is also collaborating in the organisation of the event.

The planetarium is one of the most successful activities
