Research centre managers from Murcia and the Navarra spend a stay at the IRBLleida

Staff in charge of managing the research centres of the Navarrabiomed - Fundación Miguel Servet (FMS) and the Fundación para la Formación e Investigación Sanitarias de la Región de Murcia (FFIS) centres have made a stay at the IRBLleida to the Accounting and Projects departments, respectively, in the framework of the REGIC managers mobility programme promoted this year. The aim of the programme is to contribute to the exchange, professional specialisation and mutual knowledge of biomedical research management staff.

IRBLleida has also sent staff from the centre to other institutes. Specifically, the head of People and Legal Affairs has visited the Institute for Health and Biomedical Research of Alicante (ISABIAL) and the head of Accounting and Finance will soon be staying at the Institute for Biomedical Research of Girona Dr. Josep Trueta (IDIBGI).

Through short stays, the aim is for the staff of each institution to gain first-hand knowledge of the practices, methodologies and approaches used in other institutions, thus promoting collaboration and mutual enrichment. In this way, management staff are provided with the opportunity to update their knowledge and acquire new tools, access to new material or procedures and direct contact with counterparts in other organisations through short stays in other centres of the REGIC network. In total, REGIC has awarded 58 mobilities.
