Start of the Solidarity Round 2025 campaign by Condis supermarkets for IRBLleida

It will go to the project "Support for the Lleida Clinical Trials Unit"

The Condis supermarkets' Solidarity Round 2025 campaign begins today, Monday 14 April, to raise money for the Institute for Research in Biomedicine of Lleida (IRBLleida). In the case of IRBLleida, the proceeds will go to the project 'Support for the Lleida Clinical Trials Unit'. The collection will end on 1 June.

The solidarity rounding, managed through Worldcoo, allows customers of these supermarkets to give the remaining cents of the purchase ticket through payment by card or mobile phone. Since it was implemented in 2018, around €2.8 M of micro-donations have been made, generating more than €700,000 for 38 social projects.

IRBLleida is one of the eight centres selected by Condis for its 2025 solidarity round-up campaign, which will focus on health. The aim of this year's campaign is to promote different medical research, prevention and support programmes for thousands of patients and their families throughout Catalonia. Thus, customers of the chain's supermarkets will have the opportunity to round up the amount of their shopping receipt to give the remaining cents to the different programmes of scientific research, health prevention and support for patients in these hospitals.

Other hospitals will also receive support, including: Hospital de la Vall d'Hebron, Hospital Clínic and Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, in Barcelona; Parc Taulí Hospital Universitari, in Sabadell; Centre Hospitalari-Fundació Althaia, in Manresa; Hospital Universitari Doctor Josep Trueta, in Girona; and Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, in Badalona.
