Research and technical staff working with research animals require continuous training to update their knowledge and improve their job performance, as well as for the necessary reaccreditation established in the regulations governing this activity.

PROGRAMME:

1. Topic 1: Basic concepts of surgery:
   1.1 Anesthesia, analgesia, asepsis, hemostasis.
   1.2 Basic surgical procedures.
   1.3 Instruments.
2. Topic 2: Sutures: types and materials.
3. Practical session: suturing on simulators.

Duration: 3 hours.

Schedule and location: 30/06/2026 - CREBA - Torrelameu (12 km from Lleida).

Time: 9:00-12:00

Language: Catalan / Spanish.

This course will count as continuing training (3 hours) for reaccreditation in the use of research animals.
