Training programme addressed to the IRBLleida researchers

  • Objectives:
    • Introduce in the field of PPI to the clinical experts.
    • Explain the role that patients, caregivers and the public can have as advisors in the health
      research process.
    • Describe the process to design and execute a PPI activity.
    • Introduce the skills required to be a facilitator of a PPI activity.
    • Report and assess the impact of a PPI activity.
  • Characteristics: 
    • With the aim to ensure that the participants in the training will adquire the mininum level of
      knowledge about patient and public involvement in health sciences several activities will be
      performed:
      • Assesment training needs survey. It will help to create a bespoken trining programme
        according to level of expertise of the participants.
      • Teaching sessions to introducte the content about patient and public invovlement in health science and participatory research.
      • Group activities to consolidate the training of the participants.
      • Survey to assess the individual training of the participants.
  • Public: 20 people maximum.
  • Institution of origin: all assigned staff.
  • Duration: 10 h.
  • Calendar: May 6 and 7.
  • Format: face-to-face.
