5th IRISCAT seminar
"The impact of COVID-19 on chronic respiratory diseases"
The Alliance of Health Research and Innovation Institutes of Catalonia (IRISCAT) is organizing its first joint scientific dissemination action: a series of webinars that will address various issues related to biomedical research and COVID-19.
The fifth seminar will take place on Wednesday 23 September at 4 pm.
The effect of COVID-19 on patients with chronic respiratory pathologies such as COPD and ASTHMA is a subject that is under intense debate and deserves to be analysed and discussed in detail. This seminar aims to critically review the risk presented by these pathologies during the course of the illness by COVID-19, as well as the possible factors that play a key role such as chronic treatments of these diseases.
