  • Duration: 3h.
  • Timetable: from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Accreditation: IRBLleida
  • Characteristics:
  • General objectives
    • To present the basic fundamentals of flow cytometry (how does a cytometer work?) to allow a good understanding of this technique that places it as a valid tool in practically any field of research. A very interesting objective would be for the attending researchers to leave the course with an idea of experiment applicable to their research project.
    • To present current techniques and applications (immunophenotyping, apoptosis, cell cycle, cell viability, functional analysis, applications in clinical diagnosis, etc.) and more recent ones so that researchers can learn about them and apply them in their field of research.
    • To publicise the Scientific-Technical Service of Flow Cytometry of IRBLLEIDA, as well as the services it offers.
  • Specific objectives
    • Familiarize attendees with flow cytometry and cell separation.
    • Learn how to design multicolored experiments that fit your research goals.
  • Methodology: Presentation and question time.
  • Evaluation: Evaluation of the activity through questionnaires during the session.
