Researcher Miriam Cerón, honoured at the Second Face-to-Face Meeting of the Spanish ALS Research Network

Winner of the best basic research poster

Miriam Cerón, a researcher in training from the Metabolic Physiopathology research group at the Lleida Biomedical Research Institute (IRBLleida), has been awarded the prize for the best basic research poster at the 2nd Face-to-Face Meeting of the Spanish ALS Research Network. The meeting, organised by the Luzón Foundation, took place on Monday 6 October at the Ramón Areces Foundation (Madrid). It brought together more than 100 specialists with a common and urgent goal: to join forces, share knowledge and accelerate research into a disease that remains incurable today.

The meeting included several activities designed to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge: poster presentations with the most up-to-date studies on ALS and a 'pollination' session, a space for debate to analyse current problems and explore possible solutions together.
