Research staff with the 'Talent Aid in Biomedical Research' funded by the Diputació de Lleida start their research at IRBLleida

The grants have a duration of one year to facilitate the completion of doctoral theses and to promote new health research projects within the framework of a research group attached to the Institute

The research staff, who obtained one of the places offered to the call 'Biomedical Research Talent Grant' 2021, have started their research at the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLleida). The aid, which is funded by the Diputació de Lleida and the IRBLleida with €279,300, aims to incorporate research professionals in training.

The grants have a duration of one year to facilitate the completion of doctoral theses and to promote new health research projects within the framework of a research group attached to the Institute. A total of 11 grants were announced. The call is divided into five different categories, all with one grant per category, except for category D, for the completion of doctoral theses, which has 7 grants. Each grant is for an amount of €20,000 gross per year, intended to cover the beneficiary's remuneration. The Diputació de Lleida also covers the total cost of each of the contracts.
