The Neuro-Cognition Research Group organizes an international meeting on psychological research in Lleida

Verònica Martínez-Benet, iCrea researcher at Pompeu Fabra University, will give the closing conference on 'Multiculturality: cultural, personality and social processes'

The Neuro-Cognition Research Group, of the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLleida) and the University of Lleida (UdL), which investigates the psychobiology of personality and the genetics of behavior, has organized an international research day in psychology in Lleida. The meeting will take place tomorrow, Friday, November 17th at the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Social Work of the UdL. Verònica Martínez-Benet, researcher iCrea of ​​the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, ​​who founded and directed the Multicultural Identity Laboratory of the University of California, will give the closing conference, 'Multiculturality: cultural, personality and social processes' in another location: the Teaching Unit of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lleida (annex building to the University Hospital Arnau de Vilanova).

The seminar will include the presentation of various research projects in psychology, which are being carried out in Europe, on topics such as the dynamics of occupational insecurity, neuropsychology, predictors of personality in cancer, cardiovascular diseases or related personality profiles with sports practice, among others. There will be also the presence of the president of the European Association of Personality Psychology (EAPP), Jérôme Rossier, who is also professor of Psychology at the University of Lausanne and director of the Institute of Psychology at this Swiss University.
