  • IRBLLEIDA is a Research Institute that receives participation from the Universitat de Lleida and the Institut Català de la Salut. IRBLLEIDA, as an organism that enjoys input from both the University and the health system, it is committed to the advance of biomedical research as a means for improving the health of the population and facilitating optimum assistance activities in situations of ill health. Interaction between professionals from both institutions creates a synergy that ultimately facilitates this task.
  • IRBLLEIDA is constituted by research groups from the UdL Faculty of Medicine, from the University Hospital Arnau de Vilanova, Santa Maria Hospital and from the Health department of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government) in Lleida.
  • Their activities include basic research to research in the area of primary health care and hospital attention, and biomedical research.
